The Program · 24 weeks

Scripture, gifts and a brush that fits you.

Our program brings together biblical teaching, a spiritual gifts discovery and patient adaptive art instruction. Over four movements you'll grow in faith, find your method and develop an art form that only you could make.

Four movements

A journey, not a race.

Each movement lasts about six weeks. Go at the pace your body and energy allow. Repeating a movement is always welcome.

01Weeks 1–6

Discover: who God made you to be

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14

We start with identity, not technique. Through Bible study, conversation and a gentle spiritual gifts inventory, you'll name the gifts, talents and life experiences God has placed in you, including the ones shaped by your disability.

  • Imago Dei & creativity
  • Spiritual gifts inventory
  • Your testimony as a story
  • Lament & hope
  • Bezalel & Oholiab
02Weeks 7–12

Equip: find your method

“He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work.” Exodus 35:35

With an adaptive art instructor (and an occupational therapist when needed), you'll try different tools and access methods until one feels like home. Then we build the fundamentals: line, color, value, composition and texture.

  • Adaptive tool fitting
  • Mouth, foot & eye-gaze basics
  • Color & light
  • Mark-making
  • Energy pacing
03Weeks 13–18

Create: develop your unique art form

“For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Ephesians 2:10

This is where your own art form takes shape. With a one-on-one mentor you'll explore themes from Scripture and your life, and turn your particular way of moving into a recognizable style. Every session begins and ends in prayer.

  • Finding your theme
  • Psalms as inspiration
  • Series & sketchbooks
  • Mentor critiques
  • Creating as worship
04Weeks 19–24

Share: use your gift to serve others

“Let your light shine before others.” Matthew 5:16

Art becomes ministry. You'll prepare work for our seasonal exhibition, create pieces for churches, hospitals and care homes, and, if you'd like, learn to mentor the next artist who joins.

  • Seasonal exhibition
  • Art for church & hospital
  • Sharing your story
  • Prints & commissions
  • Peer mentoring
